Shelley and Wendye, Thank you both so very much for making our first family vacation a special one. It was a week that we'll always remember. We sincerely enjoyed every minute of our stay at River Spruce and we couldn't have asked for a more gracious and hospitable atmosphere. Thunderbird is a wonderfully cozy cabin, and those short seven days we spent there have truly brought us closer as a family. And those muffins... what else can I say? :) Thanks again. It's been some time, but I wanted to drop you a note to say thank you and send you a photo of our stay at River Spruce last summer. The first morning of our stay, Aaron took me out by the river with a basket of your homemade rolls and asked me to marry him. It was the most perfect setting for one of the most unforgettable mornings of my life. We spent the next few days enjoying the quiet, peaceful beauty of Estes Park, watching the hummingbirds who would visit our cabin every afternoon, and taking in the gorgeous river view from our cabin. We will have to admit that we were leary of coming back to River Spruce as we had grown attached to Jean, Gad and Katherine and were so afraid the "new owners" wouldn't do it justice.
